Manage Email Templates
Add, edit, set as default, or delete property-specific email templates in Console.
Prerequisites
Entry: Console → Marketing → Email Templates.
In each scenario, grayed-out templates at the top are global templates for all properties; view only, not editable. You can add, edit, and delete property-specific templates.
Configure property-specific templates when:
- Case 1: global template copy does not fit this property; configure a property-specific template for the relevant language (skip if global templates work)
- Case 2: many guests from a specific country (e.g. Japan); configure a property-specific template in that language (e.g. Japanese)
Steps
Add a property-specific template
Click New Template in the top-right corner.
Fill in the dialog:
- Language: select from dropdown; cannot duplicate an existing property-specific language
- Type: text / html
- Subject
- Content
Click Confirm.
The first property-specific template becomes the property default automatically. The new template dialog includes language, type, subject, and content; the primary button is Confirm.
Edit a property-specific template
Click more options (three dots) on the target template and select Edit.
Edit information in the dialog (all fields editable); selected language cannot duplicate an existing property-specific language.
Click Confirm.
Set as default template
Shown only for non-default templates.
Click more options (three dots) on the target template and select Set as Default.
Click Confirm in the confirmation dialog.
After confirmation, the template becomes the property-specific default.
Delete a property-specific template
Shown only for non-default templates.
Click more options (three dots) on the target template and select Delete.
Click Confirm in the confirmation dialog.
Result
Property-specific templates appear under the corresponding scenario; after set as default, that template is the property default; after delete, the template is removed from the list.
