Availability

Open or close sales by hotel, rate plan, and room type for each date.

Entry: Console → CRSAvailability.

Prerequisites

The calendar shows availability by hotel level, rate plan, and room type: green means open for sale, red means closed.

You can switch views by level (rate plan / room type), and adjust a single cell or run batch updates.

Steps

Close a rate plan for sale

Use when you need to temporarily stop selling a rate plan on a given day.

In the calendar, find the rate plan under the target date and click it.

In the dialog, select Close.

Click Confirm.

Close a room type for sale

Use when a room type cannot be sold (for example all rooms of that type are under maintenance).

In the upper left, switch to the room type view.

In the calendar, find the room type under the target date and click it.

In the dialog, select Close.

Click Confirm.

Close the hotel for sale

Use when the hotel must stop taking all reservations for a day (for example a major event).

Under the target date in the calendar, click the hotel-level switch.

In the confirmation dialog, click Confirm. All room types and rate plans for that day close at once.

Hotel-level close stops all products for that date. Confirm before you proceed.

Batch adjust availability

Use when the same open/close action applies to multiple dates, rate plans, or room types.

Open the batch action entry at the top of the page.

Choose the level, action, and date range.

Click Apply, then confirm again.

Close the property

Use when the project stops operating and all direct channels must stop selling.

  1. Before close: Batch-close hotel-level switches for a forward period (for example one year) so later dates are closed, while dates before the close remain bookable for existing reservations.
  2. On close day: Turn off the project overall availability switch. Once it takes effect, all direct channels stop selling immediately.

Turning off project overall availability immediately stops selling on all direct channels. This cannot be undone by a single undo action — plan the close date carefully.

Result

  • Single-cell or batch changes show as open (green) or closed (red) on the calendar.
  • Hotel-level or project close removes availability for the affected dates/channels as described above.
