Create group

Create a group in Console with basic information and room block to lock group inventory.

Entry: Console → Rooms → group reservations.

None

Steps

Open the group reservations page.

Click New Group.

Fill in:

  • Group Name: required, max 50 characters
  • Stay date range: required
  • Contact person: required; search or type. If Company is set and has a representative, primary representative fills as contact; you can change via search
  • Company: optional
  • Remark: optional, max 2000 characters
  • Rate plan: required; direct-channel plans valid for the stay, non-prepaid. Available room types appear after selection

Configure Block (inventory): after room types are selected, block by room type per night or in bulk. Grid shows inventory by date (columns = room types, rows = stay dates); click a cell to edit count

Click Confirm. Inventory is locked per room type and date per block count.

The new group page collects basics and rate plan, then block grid; primary button is Confirm.

If cells highlight after confirm, inventory is insufficient for those room types and dates. Refresh and adjust counts.

After creation, configure settlement on the group detail Window tab while Upcoming only. See Group folio and invoices.

Result

Group created; inventory locked for blocked dates.
