Create, edit, cancel, start, and stop a sublet on a long-stay reservation, and view sublet success records.
Front desk staff manage sublet periods on a long-stay reservation.
Entry: Console → long-stay reservation details → Sublet period.

Steps
Create a sublet
On reservation details → Sublet period, top right shows New Sublet.
Click New Sublet.
In the dialog, choose start and end dates, then Confirm.
Selectable dates run from today through the active contract’s end date.
Grayed calendar dates are already covered by another sublet. Overlap with an existing sublet shows an error and creation fails.
Edit a sublet
Only Upcoming and In sublet rows can be edited.
In the sublet list, open the row’s three-dot menu → Edit.
Upcoming: both start and end dates can change. Edit, then Confirm.
In sublet: start date is locked. Change end date, then Confirm.
Edit also checks for overlap with other sublets.
Example: change 2024.11.27–2024.11.30 to 2024.11.27–2024.11.28:
If inventory is 0 on at least one day of 11.28–11.29, Confirm shows a prompt and edit fails.
If inventory is enough on 11.28–11.29 but a not-yet-checked-in hotel reservation holds the room, Confirm shows a prompt. Check I acknowledge and confirm, click Unassign Room (clears the hotel room assignment), then Confirm.
If an in-house hotel reservation holds the room on 11.28–11.29, Confirm shows a prompt and edit fails.
Cancel a sublet
Only Upcoming sublets can be cancelled.
In the list, three-dot menu → Cancel, then Confirm.
Example: sublet 2024.11.27–2024.11.30:
If inventory is enough on 11.27–11.30 but a not-yet-checked-in hotel reservation holds the room, Confirm shows a prompt. Check I acknowledge and confirm, click Unassign Room, then Confirm.
If inventory is 0 on at least one day of 11.27–11.30 and a not-yet-checked-in hotel reservation holds the room, same flow: acknowledge → Unassign Room → Confirm.
If inventory is 0 on at least one day and no hotel reservation holds the room, acknowledge, then Confirm.
Start a sublet
Start Sublet appears when status is Upcoming and start date is today.
Click Start Sublet.
In the dialog, click Confirm.
After start, the long-stay reservation status becomes In sublet, and long-stay guest access is removed automatically.
Starting a sublet removes the long-stay guest’s room and door access. Re-authorize after the sublet ends if they return.
Stop a sublet
Stop Sublet appears when status is In sublet and end date is today.
Click Stop Sublet.
In the dialog, click Confirm.
If an in-house hotel reservation occupies the room, confirm shows a prompt and you cannot stop. Change room or check out that hotel reservation first.
After stop, the long-stay reservation returns to In-house. Manually grant access to the long-stay guest again.
View sublet success records
Sublet success record appears for In sublet and Ended rows.
Click it to see linked hotel reservations and successful sublet days.
