Suspected linked reservations
How the system flags suspected linked reservations, and cues on reservation details and Check-in & Check-out.
The system flags back-to-back stays that share a guest name so front desk can confirm or exclude the link before check-out or room assignment.
Prerequisites
Both conditions must hold for two reservations to be suspected linked:
- A’s booker (or any guest) has the same name as B’s booker (or any guest).
- B’s arrival date equals A’s departure date.
Steps
Reservation details
When a suspected link exists, Linked reservations on main info shows a count badge. See Confirm link and Exclude link.
The badge is a red number when links are only suspected.
Check-in & Check-out
On Check-in & Check-out, a red marker appears beside the date instead of ETA or ETD when a suspected link exists.
Shown when a guest has two reservations (A and B): A checks out today and B checks in today.
- B’s Arrival date shows a red marker (no ETA).
- A’s Departure date shows a red marker (no ETD).
A purple marker means the two reservations are already confirmed linked.
