Confirm link

Confirm a suspected link between reservations in the Linked reservations dialog.

Confirm that two reservations belong to the same guest stay chain so housekeeping stays and room holds stay aligned.

Entry: Console → Room reservations → reservation details → Linked reservations.

Steps

Open details for either of the suspected linked reservations.

Click Linked reservations. The button shows the count of suspected links.

In the dialog, select the reservations to link and click Confirm link.

Dialog title is Linked reservations. It notes that the booker/guest name matches the listed reservations and asks you to confirm. Cards group prior or subsequent links with checkboxes. Secondary Cancel; also Confirm exclude; primary Confirm link.

What can and cannot be linked

  • Same occupied room type, and neither reserved or both reserved to the same room: link succeeds.
  • Same occupied room type, one reserved or in-house and the other not reserved: message One reservation has no room reserved; after linking, the same room will be reserved automatically.
  • Different occupied room types: message Occupied room types differ; linking is not supported. Align occupied types first.
  • Same occupied type but different reserved rooms: message Reserved rooms differ; linking is not supported. Use the same reserved room or clear the hold first.

Result

After a successful link, the system merges in-house cleaning counts and schedules cleaning tasks accordingly.
