Utilities Settings

Entry: Console → Finance → Long Stay Contract Settings → Utilities.

Configure utilities billing rules, billing cycles, and payment priority for all long-stay reservations in the property. A master toggle controls automatic utilities calculation and bill generation.

Utilities master toggle & effective date

After enabling the master toggle, set an Effective Date. Rules take effect on that date.

Utilities unit price configuration

• Unit prices: Water, Hot Water, and electricity default to ¥0; editable from ¥0.00 to ¥999.99 (Utilities Unit Price).
• Effective method: Changes apply immediately; future bills use new prices.
• Calculation: (Individual usage − property average usage) × unit price per utility. Water, hot water, and electricity are calculated separately and summed.
  • Sum > 0: generates a Utilities Bill
  • Sum ≤ 0: amount credited to wallet (Utilities Reward)

Default utilities billing day

• Date: Selectable from 1st to 28th.
• Bill generation: The system generates the previous period's utilities bill at night audit on the morning after the billing day. Final-period bills are not limited by this date and generate at night audit the day before checkout.

App mandatory priority payment

Corresponds to the App Mandatory Priority Payment toggle.

Effective rules:

1. When turned off: existing and future outstanding utilities bills no longer require priority payment.
2. When turned on: same logic applies in reverse.

Scope:

• Affects Guest App payment flow only.
• Console manual payment is not restricted.
