Change nightly rates or the rate plan on the Room rates tab, and review rate-change history.
Adjust room rates on a hotel reservation before departure, or change the rate plan on Console-created reservations before the first night audit.
Entry: Console → Room reservations → reservation details → Room rates.
Prerequisites
- Change rate: available on all hotel reservations until the day before check-out (hidden on departure day).
- Change rate plan: only Console-created hotel reservations, and only before the first night audit.
Steps
Change rate
Open the reservation Room rates tab.
Open the three-dot menu → Change rate.
To switch rate plan, select a plan on the right of the dialog.
- Only Console-created reservations.
- Only non-prepaid rate plans.
Adjust rates for dates that have not night-audited.
- One-click: click Room rate to refresh non-audited nights from the selected rate plan.
- Manual: double-click the daily total cell for a date and enter a new amount (≥ 0, up to two decimals).
Audited nights cannot be edited. Rows that differ from the booked rate are highlighted in red.
Enter a Remark (required, max 500 characters).
Click Confirm.
The three-dot menu on room-rate info shows Change rate when editing is allowed.
Left side of the dialog is original rates; right side is the editor. You can filter to direct-book rate plans, pick a plan, and use Room rate. Columns are date and daily total; header shows the total amount. Remark is required. Secondary Cancel; primary Confirm.
After submit, the Room rates tab updates rate code and amounts and shows any difference.
Rate-change history
Operation history appears in the three-dot menu only when prior changes exist.
Click Operation history.
Review past changes in the Rate-change history dialog.
Left side lists original then current/revised rates; right detail columns are date, room rate, service fee, tax, daily total. Secondary button Close.
